Welcome to the Ashlea Medical Practice Website

Our practice is one of the oldest in the country. It was founded in 1908 by two German doctors who settled in this country; Dr Von Bergen in Leatherhead and Dr Reichwald in Ashtead. The practice now has 15 doctors across the two sites, Gilbert House in Ashtead and Linden House in Leatherhead. We aim to retain the best of traditional family general practice whilst incorporating modern healthcare.

We are a Training Practice

For the last forty years we have been training medical students and doctors who wish to specialise in family medicine.  We offer a variety of specialist services and have a close working relationship with all of our local hospitals.

Access to Our Surgeries

Linden House - Car parking spaces, including disabled spaces, are available in the pay and display car park opposite the surgery.

Gilbert House - Car parking is available in the surgery car park.  Reserved spaces for the disabled are clearly marked.

Both surgeries are easily accessible by wheelchair and have disabled toilet facilities.  If access proves to be be difficult to any of our facilities we would be happy to consider any suggestion for improvement. To see a map or for additional contact details please click here.

Patient Participation Group (PPG)
