In addition to GP consultations the practice offers a wide range of clinics and healthcare services:
This is held on Tuesday afternoons at Gilbert House and appointments made via reception. Linden House patients are on a Thursday afternoon at Leatherhead Hospital. Linden House patients to call the community midwives on 01372 735368 to book an appointment.
Patients should make an appointment with the practice nurse for childhood immunisations.
An appointment should also be made with a doctor for a mother and baby check at 6 weeks. You will also have a pre-booked appointment with the health visitor for baby at 6-8 weeks. To see a health visitor at one of the following baby clinics, call 01372 384300 to make an appointment.
- Monday at George's Christian Centre, Ashtead
- Tuesday at Trinity Children's Centre, Leatherhead
- Thursday at Wellspring Children's Centre (within the Baptist Church), Bookham
Blood Pressure Monitoring
There is a patient BP monitor available for patient use in both Gilbert House and Linden House Surgery waiting rooms. Patients may be invited to come along to take their BP on this monitor at any agreeable time during surgery opening hours. Registered patients who have any concern regarding their BP may also attend the surgery to use this monitor. The monitor will print out the results which should be handed to reception with the patient name and date of birth written clearly on the print out for interpretation by a GP.
Childhood Immunisations are administered by our nursing staff, please contact reception for appointment times.
Coronary Heart Disease/Cardiac Prevention Clinic
A practice nurse-led clinic. Please see your GP for a referral to this clinic.
At both surgeries a clinic is held with a dietician and podiatrist in attendance. Contact reception for details.
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and rest homes. Please contact the reception staff for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment.
Minor Surgery/Joint Injections
Three of our doctors perform Minor Surgery and Joint Injections. Please discuss in the first instance with a GP in a normal surgery consultation.
Held at both surgeries by a specially trained nurse, this clinic aims to help patients understand their respiratory disease and share in its management. Contact reception for details.
Please make an appointment with a travel nurse at least eight weeks prior to your holiday to ensure adequate cover. A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS. A list of these charges is held at reception.
Ear Microsuction Clinic
These are held on several days at our Gilbert House Surgery. See your GP for a referral.
Surrey Ultrasound Services run a weekly clinic at the practice, held on alternative weeks at each surgery. Patients can attend these appointments at either surgery regardless of which surgery they are registered at.
Anti-Coagulation Monitoring and Therapy is offered in a twice weekly clinic at both surgeries.
Well Woman/Family Planning Clinics
These are run by our specialist family planning nurses. They will take cervical smears, give advice on breast checks, contraception and discuss hormone replacement therapy. Please contact reception for times of clinics, some of which do not require an appointment.
